That's a good card for the specs you list.

Well, you would have to measure your case, depth wise, from the top of the pci-e slot to the side panel. Turn it off, pull your card and measure, then, look at the specs on that card. Use a calculator to check if it'll fit.

I don't see any reason why it wouldn't. It comes with a low-profile expansion slot plate to replace the standard one, but without seeing the system in person, I can't be absolutely confident that it would fit. However, it does look like it might block a neighboring PCI slot.

Okay, here's what I've found.
__________________#1 Sapphire 4650, $55. The third reviewer on that page put this in a computer just like yours--same exact model. "Pros: This card fits perfectly in my gateway slimline sx2800. if you have a slimline system, do not hesitate to get this card. The bad news is, now it is sold out. I cant believe how good this card is and it was only 55.00.runs a 34" monitor at 1920 x1200 and my 42" hdtv at 1920x1080 at the same time without even breaking a sweat. The fan is silent for me and the drivers you are better off to go the ati site and download the latesst drivers rather then using the drivers on the cd. The drivers on the cd are old. I havent tried any games yet but im sure this thing will run most games at pretty high settings with no problems. It is also very low power consumption which is another good thing for slimline pcs as the psu's in these things are pretty low wattage. get this card if you can find it somewhere. You will not regret it." Here's the first review for that Galaxy 9600GT you posted: "for comparison reasons, here are my specs (hp slimline s3200t): intel E4500, 2gb ram, 140GB HD at 5300rpm. 70mm and 120mm 14v fans. 2 external HDs. nvidia 9600gt." I'd probably get that 9600GT because it has better memory than the 4650 which is DDR2. Good luck to you. I'm thinking it should fit in your case.

9600GT or 9800GT are around 100w. The TR2 450w psu max can give you 18a or 20a on 12v so you may need to look a better one.
