Default SLI indicator problems

So i found this tool on the CP and since I bought a 2nd GPU, why not try it out?

Ok so i tried launching Red Faction and the indicator immediately showed.

However when I launched Arkham Asylum, no indicator showed. No FPS increase either. So at least everything makes sense, no indicator= no SLI

PS: physx was disabled

This goes the same with a couple of other games.

So what is the problem? I doubt that its because they dont have SLI support.

Now im thinking its because my resolution im using is too low. And since my monitor broke I have to play on a ****ty 720p TV, im guessing thats the case.

Any suggestions? THANKS!!

same card? exactly same card?
oops sig says yes, go onto the evga site and download the sli drivers, and make sure you have the latest normal drivers aswell, its very straight forward just ask you for the card type then you click video drivers you get your 60mb download instal that then do the same but choose the sli option another 50mb or so and instal reboot then go into the nvidia control panel then enable sli, you do have the sli connector right?

Yes, this is already assuming that I have the exact same card and up to date drivers. And of course I have a connector and SLI enabled

Im not positive but some games may require a SLI profile update. I may need to download that. Thanks though!

You could try that EVGA SLI enhancement patch. Might help.

is it true that SLI enabled in lower resolutions can actually lead to worse performance than just a single card?

Was phys-x disabled both in the game and in the CP?

Because in BMAA, if you only have 2 cards in SLI, with phys-x on at all, anywhere ... your cards will come out of SLI and it'll run worse than just running one card alone.

SLI and phys-x don't always play nice.

Same often goes with games ported from consoles, especially at first when they come out. Borderlands might just not have a profile yet.
