Default GTS 250 vs 8800GTS G92: Which is better?

As the title states, someone just asked me which is better compared to the two, any thoughts?

The GTS250 is better. It is just a better more energy efficient version of the 9800 GTX.

So it's better power efficient wise or frames per second? If it's FPS then by how many FPS?

The GTS 250 is actually a rebranded 9800 GTX+.

And btw, the GTS 250 will beat the G92 8800GTS, which is somewhat weaker than the 9800 GTX (minus the +).

Which technically the 8800GTS g92 512MB was the same as the 9800GTX, so it'd be about on par or maybe a bit worse/better than the GTS 250 then from the sounds of it.

The GTS 250 is a better 9800GTX. It's better.

That wouldn't make sense because a GTS 250, 8800GTS 512MB is a 9800GTX+ basically and the 9800GTX+ beats the 9800GT.

The GTS 250 is better than the 9800GTX+ whereas the 9800GTX+ is better than the 9800GTX whereas the 9800GTX is better than the 8800GTS G92.

Makes sense? The GTS 250 > 8800GTS G92.
