I've never done it, it apparently voids warranty, but that's what we're about, right? Here's a guide that I found, I also found some 275 bios files but none of them stated whether or not they were compatible with W7.

I have done it to my card its no big deal and don't do it in windows too much can go wrong.

Get nibitor and pull the bios off of your card. Grab the 275 FTW bios off any site (google it) and take a look in nibitor the settings and change your bios that you pulled off to those exact settings. Then make a bootable usb stick and put on nvflash and the edited bios on that, reboot and flash it on.

Also your temps are going to go up and what I did what change how the fan works on my card (there are 2 different ways it can function, either going from one percentage to another over big temp increments (default) or slowly ramping up with the temperature) and found the sweet spot for good cooling and not being able to hear it. This can all be done in nibitor as well.

So i finished doing the bios flash, thank you both for your help, the improvement was unbelievable. I had been trying to OC use Precision software but i wasnt really noticing any gains, not sure why. Im playing Operation Flashpoint 2 and ARMA 2 and the FPS has jumped up heaps making both games so much more enjoyable to play + i learn something new, thx again fellas
