I just picked up a Gainward GTX 280 faulty for real cheap and was wondering how gainward are with their RMAs, if they are as good as sapphire ill be happy
..The fault symptoms are that it boots up fine but the screen is all messed up but still readable, ill try baking it first, if not ill try to RMA with gainward...then maybe ill keep it but its a downgrade from the 4870x2, or ill sell it for a little profit. So my question is has anyone ever dealt with gainward for RMA? Is it pretty hassle free?

Well, while I have not RMA'd anything to that company, I did some research on their site and it appears as though the return process could go fairly smooth. Also, since you bought it and it's not working, make sure the card shows no symptoms of what they would view as something that voids the warranty. They outline this very well.
