Did you look at all of the images? That card is pretty short....

If you need shorter than that, you are going to have to look at 4670s or LOWER...which kinda sucks.

Nvidia does not have too many short cards worth a damn for gaming, either.

When we go back over to his place, i'll measure how much room he has to work with. I think he's in some Piss poor dell case (ugh!) So i'll have to see how much room he has to work with.

That would be pushing it as far as his PSU is concerned. The earthwatts 380 BARELY has the amps for something like that. A Corsair 400 watt could do it OK, but the EA380 is a touch on the weak side.

I love the 9800GT green editions. I can run them on 350W PSUs from Dell no problem.

If his friend's system isn't overclocked (Since it's a dell, that's most likely true), the Earthwatts is sufficient.

However, things might heat up in his case a tad, so I wouldn't get the GTS250 anyway
My vote goes to the XFX 4770 if he has room. Blowers exhaust heat.

Wow, a whole 9800GT without any power connector.

Definitely a nice feature, but don't expect any overclocking -- or for it to match a regular 9800GT in performance.
