Default GTS 250 vs 9800GT

I want to be able run crysis on Hight to Very High with no AA or AF at 1024x768
and at least medium to high at 1680x1050 no AA and no AF

im leaning towards the GTS250
if any one has or know any benchmarks please post site/file
i can't find many 1024x768 benchmarks for any card

GTS250 = 9800GTX

9800GTX > 9800GT

Get the GTS250

GTS250 has 128 stream processors while the 9800GT has 112. Not that much of a difference, but you should see a slight increase in performance

Get this one:

http://www.compusa.com/applications/...731&CatId=3775

I was looking at the GTS 250 and I chose this one instead! I am so happy I did.

I stepped up from the 9600 GSO OC'd Edtion.....it was the only way to go

I can't speak from experience but I'm assuming the 250 would perform well in crysis @ that resolution in high settings (vh may be pushing it). The card seems like a great value... I think a GTX 260 might be overkill at that resolution and the 9800gt may not be able to live up to expectations.

9800GTX is 65nm
9800GTX+/GTS250 is 55nm and has higher stock clocks

Some later-PCB 9800GTX+'s are identical to GTS250's
(1 6-pin PCI-e power connector, shorter PCB, 8800GTS-G92-esque cooler)

Thanks grunion that was what i was looking for, but there is no crysis listings :-(. Im on a budget and the GTX 260 is about $50 more than a GTS 250 that is why im not considering the 260
