Hey,
My card used to idle about 20c (possibly even lower) lower than this when I got it just under 2 years ago, now I have tried cleaning and applying MX-2 paste and cleaning all the crap out of the HSF but it just doesn't want to get lower, over the past couple of weeks I am pretty sure it has risen 5c too... What could be the problem? I don't really want to go and buy a new cooler when I was going to get a new one next year anyways.

It was Gainward and I should think it's long out of warranty.

Could not help but notice it shows your fan speed as 30%...

Indeed! turn it up to 60%~. And clean the GPU heatsink you probably have a lot of dust accumulated blocking passage of air through the fins.

That's the speed it has always run at though!, ill give it another clean this weekend and setup some RivaTuner fan settings to see how it goes though.

Right on! I highly suggest you do so and increase fan speed even if just 50-60% it is barely audible over the default 30% and will drop temps quite alot.

I suggest to take the cooler off one more time and check the TIM. Since this card has a bare die, EVERY spec of the die needs to have TIM on it. Also check to see if the entire die is making contact with the cooler. If it is not, you need to add more TIM than last time. I had this same issue with a GTX+ and a larger amount of TIM fixed it right up. Good luck man.
