I just installed my eVGA GTX 285 SC 2 days ago and since then, moving from an X1950XTX to this card, the bios screen for my ASUS motherboard feels... well, I don't know how else to say it.. "laggy".

It's my guess that perhaps something like the Southbridge (ICH) needs to be increased. When I upgraded from the 9800 GTX+ to what I have now, I had to increase my southbridge voltage. Actually, I had to re-stabilize my overclock.

Sounds like what TwoCables said. When i changed from my 8800GT/X to my 280 i found my bios seemed a little slower.
Never done anything to it though, never had problems. My overclock was still stable and FPS's were good. Unless you get lag dont fix it. Don't fix what's not broken.
