I Had a friend put together this pc for me and He didnt get to putting the graphics card in I Believe my card is a msi video card?? model N9600GT.
My motherboard is ASUS M3N78-VM I put it in and turn it on and cant see anything to set it up whats my problem do I have to do something before installing it cause the motherboards vga doesnt even show anything???

did you plug in the wires? did you use an anti static wrist strap when putting the stuff in? did you hookup your monitor directly to the gfx card? did you disable the on board gfx card in the bios?

well check in the bios & make sure graphics are set to pci-e & not onboard if u were using the onboard graphics before hand

This is why you don't have your friend put together your computer. If he gets in over his head he can just leave you sitting with the mess.

If your motherboard has onboard graphics plug the monitor into that. Then boot and get into bios. Make sure that pci-e is selected as default gpu. Also make sure all power connectors to the card are in and all connectors to the board, 24pin+4pin.

just go in bios now and u can then disable onboard gpu,if your not getting any graphics then check everything(wires,power wires to gpu....)

I wonder if the power is plugged in. That card require a 6pin PCIe power cable. Also why you are at it make sure you CPU power is plugged in that one is a 4 or 8 pin adaptor.
