hello basicly heres the weird issue on shattered horizon the gpu will be used for physx like most other games i play but when i play trine nfss or overlord 2 they all use cpu instead of gpu even tho i have it turned on to use gpu i have a 285 gtx 1 gig 3 gigs of ram and a e8400 at 3.6 so any sugestion wld be helpfull thanks on and btw those 3 gamex i mentioned all r saposed to use gpu physx

dont believe those games support nvidia physxl check out nvidia.com for a list of supported games

they do trust me trine nfss and overlord 2 all use physx but my question still remains the same why are some sing the gpu and some not do i need to use a certain setting in atitool? or nvidia control panel or something? cause dosent make seince why some will and some dont

how is it u know for sure that in those games cpu is used insted of gpu and do u have physx inabled in nvidea control panal and in game itsself becuz if you dont have it inabled or turned on in both places sometimes it goes on cpu insted of gpu but anyways like i said how do u no for sure its runing physx on cpu?

ok first off i dont need people dissin my typing and second i didnt come here for people asking me how this how that i simply want respectable people to try and help me get this issue fixed if that isint u pls dont comment and as of how i got it to tell me all u do is open nvidia control panel goto the drop down menus at top click 3d settings and select the only option available after that u will get a tag in the game showing u wether its using gpu or cpu for physx and usualy itl say cpu in the menu so load the actual game enviorment then itl show u the correct one

and yes its enabled in the control panel and everygame ive used that uses physx so far has no such option in there option menus ive looked

how do you know they are not using the graphics card? what i mean is are you 100% positive its using the CPU? and no need to be mean your just making a troll out of yourself


Edit are you sure those games support GeForce Physx? they may only support the original Ageia Physx PPU like Warmonger Edit

Well nivida did disable Physx in ATI systems with new Drivers...
Or if I misread your post, why did you give the chimp a gun in the first place.
I think the question you asked was one of those two I can't tell which.
Oh and by the way, the physx needs to be set to on, or maybe it is cpu physics, the latter more likely.

hmm ok obviously no one seems to understand..ok i ned help the problem is that some games use cpu for physx and some gpu but all of them r obviously sapposed to use gpu so am i missing something or whats going on here some one pls help me with this issue and yes for the 3rd time i have physx turned on in nvidia control panel
