Default Which card should I get?

If I choose Intel i7 920 as my new processor, which graphic card should I get?

I'm just interesed in playing the latest games at max settings.

I've got a GTX260 and i can play any game at max settings (not inc' crysis but can still set it at high with 8x aa)

the good thing is aswel that the gtx260 wont cost you an arm n a leg to buy 1 see

"latest games" and "max settings" are both things that vary per individual.

How much money do you have to spend? What resolution are you planning on playing at? Is PhysX something that you require? By latest games do you mean DX11?

5850 - 5870 - 2x5770's - 5970 are your options currently if DX11 is what you consider the "latest games," (of course you could Xfire 5850's and 5870's, but they dont scale very well yet) and should more or less meet what I would consider the "highest settings" requirement

Well, my monitor is 19 inch. I don't think I want a bigger monitor.

Xfire-ing two of these graphic cards? Damn, that sounds very expensive!

Your 19" is probably 1440x900, though there are some like mine that are 1680x1050...

Both ways, a HD 5850 would be good.
