Ah good, I know C++, but surely there got to be a different format to writing the programs. There's no way a program written for Windows would work for Linux (I know I'm stating the obvious but it's early in the morning so bare with me). Would I just have to build the program in a Linux environment? That sentence doesn't even make sense... I'm going to bed. Any help would be appreciated.

With Tux W/o Tux Edit: Grr, the logo and text aren't centered! Ah screw it. I'm tired. I'll fix it tomorrow.

) will run under windows and Linux (assuming it uses no special libraries), all that is needed is that it'll have to be recompiled.Perl/ruby/python are interpreted langauges, so I can write scripts in these languages on my Mac and then run them on my linux box without doing anything different(again assuming no libs are missing). Java will work on any machine with a jvm.
