Good news I have got the version4 Larch scripts building me a base setup as we speak This means we will have an installable version The bad news is i have to see my gf tonight because i didn't see her yesterday due to being ill

Lets hope these aren't as buggy as the version 5's are, They were an absolute pain in the arse but, In their defence they are alot easier to install and i'm sure they will be amazing once they come out of beta and Archin is updated to work with them.

LiveCD only as of now. biatchi is working on an installer. i forget whos doing what, but i think someone is making a 64bit version.

On OCNIX now! Awesome job guys, I love this.
It even tried to load the firmware for my bcm43xx wireless card..but didnt work.
Any updates on when you might get new video drivers integrated? It didnt recognize my 8800GTX. Im running 800x600 on a 24" screen, 1920x1200-->800x600 does NOT look very pleasing to the eye!

Good job so far though, waititng for the GUI installer.

Video drivers are not integrated. You must find and install them; easiest way is to go to nVidia.com and look up the Linux drivers and installation instructions.

Well, I meant a way of supporting high resolutions without installing the new drivers.
I dont see how you could install the drivers as this is only a LiveCD. Forgive me if im ignorant, but I dont see any possibilities.

Heres two pics of some odds that I got. First one is on boot, second is when I tried to shutdown it wouldnt let me. Im new to linux so maybe I tried to do it incorrectly? Been awhile..





Dont know if the PCMIA error is known of or not, thought Id post just incase try and help out.

You got a bad burn most likely... happened to me just like that. Maybe re-burn the image?
