The main problem is checking the cd itself after the burn. I did a straight burn the iso (which was, of course, fine), but it did not burn correctly. Burning at a slower speed minimizes this problem. And as a general rule, never burn more than 48x.

I can't get the distro to shutdown either. You can try using "eject" to see if you can get the cdrom drive to open. Otherwise manually press it open, and force shutdown the computer. This is a small problem, though.

Hmm..I personallykind of like the layout of windows.
The programs button (start) and window layout at bottom is pretty nifty.After using Ubuntu though, i kept clicking at the bottom left trying to use the show desktop button.
