Your build is based of Arch? Is there an installer? Is it 64bit? Thanks.

Hm, well I a software update build to my current OCNix build (not based off ubuntu). There isn't much that is changing except a Firefox update, PerlMon update, FAH-installer update. I still need to add simpleconf, and fix a few small things. So far the filesize is slightly smaller than the previous (~10mb less), which is nice.

I think i have found out why my builds always kernel panic, Klibc doesn't play nice with the new 2.6.24 kernels . I'm going to compile the last 2.6.23 and see if that works.

Only thing I have to say is blegh @ xfce. Everything else seems great though. I prefer Gnome .

Not hate, it just doesn't appeal to me. It's lightweight, yeah, but it feels too bare. It's not a bad pick (nice to have option for xfce when using low end machines), I'm just not very comfortable with it. Personal preference. Only time I actually use xfce is on Gentoox or when I want to toy around on my Fedora 8 install (KDE gets toyed with too in that scenario ).

Gnome and KDE are bloated. Xfce is not as much. Im using Fluxbox now.
