I would ABSOLUTELY love to get involved in this. I'm not much of a programmer, especially in Linux.
I could definitely do some of the PR side of it, or Management or General Assistance. I can work on a website, work on getting the word out to OCNers, etc. Let me know how I can help. I'm here to do just that.

I've already knocked up a quick OCNix 1680x1050 background and would love to do more, I'm confident with any graphics software and am online daily so I would love to give Graphics Lead a go. I'd be happy to help co-ordinate the graphics aspect of OCNix and I could definitely help out some budding graphical designers out there.
I'm great with Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash and can pick up on new graphical software with ease. Snogus
