indeed. I know what I'm doing now (kinda sorta not really). But you know how you can double click a zip folder then Windows unpacks it and starts the .exe . That's what I mean.

If you are talking about a program to automatically do ./configure \ make \ make install then you can't really do it. So many pieces of software just don't work like that, or need special stuff done.
Saying that, Arch has the AUR - which I think is what you are looking for. (Basically user-created files which automagically download the Tarball, extract, and do what is necessary in arch.)
