Dunno if anyone's interested (and no offense to the person who put together the current OCNix page) but I got bored and put together a little site (or rather a technology update to the current one). I don't really expect you to use it, but if you want to, feel free. It's located here.

Check over here: http://www.overclock.net/ocnix/48986...x-website.html

It was just mildly updated by Snogus over what I had initially done. Honestly, I'd rather keep it as is because the website is at the bottom of the list of things to do right now. I like what you did, but since the page is just that, a page, I don't feel we need to put any more effort into it right now. Hold on to that design though because once things get rolling we may be able to use it down the road.

It's well done for sure, just a few questions to satisfy my curiosity, did you remake the current design or start from scratch and did you use cells and tables or <DIV>s.

The drop shadows are nice, but the OCNix logo isn't exported in a high enough resolution and is very pixelated by the stretching done. Ghost1227 would you mind uploading the .psd file or whatever working file you used so it's easier to be used by everyone, so they can export to larger/smaller resolutions if they need to. You don't have to as it is your intellectual property but it would be appreciated.

Count me in for "Linux for Overclockers" the old wording was a little confusing, this tag line is much better. Ghost1227 I'd like to use the logo you whipped up but I need it with a transparent background as a .png with the resolution 513x117. If we do use it, do you want your name in the developers credits down the bottom and if so under what alias/name?

I started from scratch, only thing I took from the original is the content. It's all divs (absolutely no tables or frames involved!) and it's all done with ajax.

As originally stated, the whole thing was just something I threw together so the logo certainly isn't the best quality, but I'll be happy to give you the source files. The logo was made in Gimp, so the source is an xpm, but I'd be happy to post the steps to make the logo as well for those who are curious and don't know Gimp well. The original version of the logo is a transparent png (I believe I posted it earlier?), but due to the way the ajax library works I had to add the background to make it show that particular color (I didn't feel like rewriting the library).

As for credit, I certainly wouldn't object to being listed but also definitely don't require it. If you feel I've earned a spot somewhere at the bottom of the list feel free to add me, my name's Dan Griffiths.

As soon as I get back on my desktop (the wife stole it and confined me to using the laptop at the moment) I'll make another post including the logo sources.

Ajax, nice, I'm not fmiliar with it though, I'm only 16 and know Visual Basic, HTML a scraping of C++. Will a .xpm open with any other vector graphic programs, I don't know gimp but I've used it, I preffer Adobe Illustrator and it's counter-parts. I could learn gimp but I don't eally have the time, we are coming up on end of year exams so I have my face buried in a book most of the time.

XtascoX, does sourceforge let us have more than one page or are we confined to just using the inex.htm? I'd like to know because I was thinking of making an "About" page so we can keep track of the team give credit on it, otherwise the developer credits line is gonna get crowded, it seems theres no shortage of web developers and graphical artist willing to volounteer their time.

If we do exand on the current page I'll set up the home page with <DIV>s, I just used the existing table set-up to save time, and put a navigation bar on the left. If we have someone that can Javascript I'd like to have the nav bar "floating" and following down the screen if you scroll on a longer page.

We can have as many pages as we like. There's also PHP support and a MySQL database that I can set up. Feel free to do the about page.

Saw this post and it looked interesting, so I threw together a logo.

Very simple, but can be changed easily. Massive, so it can be scaled however you like.

Edit: To clarify I have the .psd at 5130px by 2170px.
