Can't help much in the programming department, I only know basic C++ but I could offer to test this on my Linux hating laptop ("almost" nothing works...)

Or maybe even break out a 400 mhz Celeron box.

I can lend my quad core for compiling if needed. I would prefer that you kept track of dependencies by yourself though, as I don't have enough time to do that.

What programming skills are you looking at? Its been some time since i got my hands dirty. Let me know what is required or what you expect maybe i could help you. I can definitely spend some time every day for this if required. Let me know.

Anything you have to offer. Most of it will probably be towards creating an installer and customizing existing software to fit into the OCNix theme.
