Think it will be a mostly a live environment with a installer possibly added at a later date, 3.2gb should be fine

You guys might want to check out Godane’s Development Blog, maybe get in touch with him and have him help out if you guys run into any snags. He's working on Archiso-live, basically an Arch LiveCD with XFCE, and he's getting there.

I would think you guy's would have opted to have the entire OS run in RAM...
