Default Deal: Ultra XVS Black Mid Tower Case w/PSU $55.99 shipped after MIR/coupon at Buy.com

Buy.com has the Ultra XVS Black Mid Tower Case with either a 400W or 350W Ultra V-Series PSU for $55.99 shipped after $20 MIR (expires 10/4) and 5% off coupon at Buy.com. I say 400W or 350W because the title and description say different things.

Thumbs up

Buyer Beware!
My last "rebate" took over 6 months and 14 very frustrating phone calls to get processed.
I no longer look at or buy anything based on a "rebate price"
As far as Ultra product-quality: it seems to be a mixed bag of a love-hate relationship;
Some people swear by their products, some people swear @ their products, saying "they're nothing but junk"!
I can only offer my feelings!
I love 'em;
I have used several of their power supplies for customer builds, never had a single one even think about "cra**ing out"! same with cold cathodes. My personal system has had the same Ultra PSU for over 3yrs! It runs very cool and is whisper quiet.
My customers (and Myself) think that the Ultra Grid case is smooth-n-sexy! It as a very nice quality "feel"; It's sturdy, has great room, is tool-free, has a superb air-cooling flow pattern etc.
It Just oozes "quality"
comparatively the "wizard" seems a little "plasticy" and cramped-almost like the "el cheapo case including PSU" that it is. (Almost & comparatively being emphasized) Still a decent case/PSU for the $$s
For just the Grid case(no PSU) I've seen it for $59.
then including PSU $79-$149
window/ no window doesn't seem to change the price; They just seem to vary which ones are on sale at any given time/ with which PSU they have in overstock
For $20-$30 more -without the hassle of a "Rebate" -splurge for the Grid, it really is night and day better (It is one beaut. of a case!)

My advise: keep checking @ TigerD.
If you didn't know; they and Ultra enjoy a "special" relationship!
make sure that you get the model with the 120mm front and back fans not the one with the 120 front and 80mm rear! Then depending on your budget you can select your needed level of PSU! (or depending on your PSU needs you can plan your budget!
Reminder BEWARE of Rebate pricing!!!
here are some links for your perusal:
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...34072&CatId=32 (no rebate)
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...42988&CatId=32 Better deal than yours! (better PSU and no Rebate)
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...997&CatId=1509 Much better PSU
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...51751&CatId=32 My personal fav. build for customers! (except I wait till they have the same deal with the clear window! for only $89-$99)
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...60280&CatId=32 Highest end "deal" Look at that PSU it's a "whopper"!
I hope some of these ideas helped you make your selection
Just to add to the selection
Just found these two with FREE shipping
http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/Produc...tCode=10006655 (pick up your choice of PSU)
http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/Produc...uctCode=382321 (do your own window!)

I just got a Cooler-Master 690 for $69.00 (brand new design) (no PSU)

Cheers

I've had no problems with Ultra rebates. The only companies I've had trouble getting rebates from is Soyo and I-Rock.

It wasn't a rebate from Ultra it was from TigerD for a DVD burner that was $49 or bundled with some CA Antivirus software for $99 with $90 rebate.
As stated it took 6 months and many phone calls to "Customer -"Rebate Status"-Service.
Anyhow, rebate issues aside:
This just came up on sale @ TD: case you wanted with a 600W Ultra PSU (the flex force cables are smashingly good for cable management)
