Default Deal: Vista Home Basic Upgrade DVD for $30 + $6.92 Shipping at JR.com

http://www.jr.com/JRProductPage.process?Product=4134296

100% Legitimate copy of vista home basic at JR.com

Good deal for an OS that's LEGAL and the latest (DX10). This doesn't have Aero or any of the bonuses (bitlocker, media center, etc....) but it's vista and will get you DirectX10. Might be good actually for those wanting less "bloat."

Anyways, enjoy. $37 shipped.

Wow, can't beat that price for a 100% legit copy of Vista! Nice find dr4gon! For those wondering here's what features basic has compared to all the other flavors of Vista (so you can make an informed decision):

If someone were to buy this and do a Windows upgrade to Premium or Ultimate, do they ship the retail disk for the upgrade or do you get a sort of cobbled-together patchwork install of the extra features?

The windows "step up" program as it were I think just unlocks those features through a download (or so I would think through their online marketplace)

It looks kinda complicated . Might want to read here:

http://www.microsoft.com/uk/windows/...radepaths.mspx

But actually, the Vista DVD comes with ALL versions of vista, it's your Key that allows you to install a specific version.
