I ordered my at the 24th and they still haven't it shipped out. So their number is good for 24 hours? Here is what I am going to. I am gonna call them everyday, ask the same quesetion and hopefully get them to ship it as promise.

Just called them this morning and they said they have the item back-order! This is the most funny thing i have heard in a while. They said they are still "searching" for suppliers who can sell the power supply at this price and they have no idea when they will have the psu shipped out. How can they sell something they don't have? That is bigger mystery I have seen in a while. Especially from a major e-retailer such as buy.com. So for all those who ordered this psu, don't waste your time calling them about the tracking number. As at this moment they don't even know which supplier would sell this psu to buy.com for 100 dollars below market price. I guess my psu is not coming any time soon. I will still stick with the order tho. I guess they will have it shipped out in 2 months or so. Very dissapointed.

The thing to understand here folks is that buy.com offered this "unbelievable" price as a bait and hook. You buy this, and then buy something else because you saved $100.

They don't warehouse this (or for that matter) anything else. They're like stock brokers.
And if you get a defective unit, you can not return it.

So, the lesson here is stick with the "reputable" (you know who they are) E-tailers.

I always thought buy.com is reputable. Aleast I know they are big. I always shop from newegg. But the new law in NY forces newegg to collect tax so I have to look somewhere else.

Tax, ya i guess that would be an issue. But not worth the stress or anxiety.

It's not just newegg Starting July 1st, you'll see a ton of internet business beginning to charge sales tax in order to jump on the amnesty deal offered by our government. If they don't begin collecting sales tax, they're liable for everything up to today's date. If they begin charging sales tax, they have immunity for everything before July 1st.

On a brighter note, I got my Corsair 520HX from Buy.com for $54 shipped

Buy.com is slow but legit. Just give it time.

You can't really complain for shipping slow. You guys paid 100 bucks less than retail. In my mind, that gives them the right to go slow.

Weird, I ordered my Antec SpotCool from Buy.com over ANTOnline or something for like 5-7 shipping it cost $2 more over ANTOnline because I never heard of them and I got my SpotCool in 2 days after the day I ordered.

that might be because it didn't actually ship from buy.com... it shipped from ANT

btw, I ordered the same psu from ZipZoomFly through buy.com about 8hrs before I ordered it from buy.com and I got it earlier today.

Called again this morning, they still have absolutely no idea if they will have it in any near future. They offered me to cancel the order. I wonder if anyone from OCN actually got this deal. I will call them again next monday and tell you guys what happen. But my guess is that they probably had a price typo. It should be 249 not 149 and they are too lazy to email everyone to cancel their orders so they just let ppl wait until they would cancel it themselves.
