I love my 1GB cruzer, but I got my 8GB USB stick for $29.99 at microcenter. It doesn't have the fancy usb slide function, but I dunno if that is worth the extra cost.

Is the titanium series faster or something?

I bought a Corsair Voyager 8GB stick....it died in three weeks and i don't have the original packaging because Corsair seemed soooo sure it was indestructible...
