Really?! That's interesting....how long have you been in car audio?

I've been competing in dbDrag for a little over 10 years now and have an AudioControl mic for personal testing and the shop I support has a TermLab mic. I've pulled 151.6 out of a single Atomic APX 18" quad 1 ohm...but I guess since I don't use POS MTX products I "can't hang with the big boys"

Perhaps my scores seem a bit high for someone accustom to using a sealed or ported box....but since I use quarter and/or half wave transmission line boxes those "rules" don't really apply. How many t-line boxes have you used, or better yet built?!?

And if you're still skeptical, I'll meet you in the lanes, but don't be bitter when you hear me say "I told you so"

i had 3x JL 10w6 pushed by JBL amp and it did more than 148 db. i can kind of see that happening with his setup, as long as its done right.

+ i don't really see MTX as the "high end"

i consider "high end" to be stuff like Orion, JL audio, diamond audio, JBL, etc, my experiences with MTX stuff don't "wow" me
