The stickies on this subject obviously are not drawing enough attention to the issue, so I'm going to take a different tactic. The Regarding Spammers thread seems to be helpful with alerting members to not respond to spam threads, so hopefully this thread will draw similar attention to this issue.

The rules for the Online Deals forum can be found here and are further explained here. The rules are pretty simple, but a dozen or more threads each and every day get nuked due to not even coming close to meeting these rules. Please be sure to have an appropriate thread prefix, the item, the price, if there's a rebate and/or shipping included, and the retailer. For your convenience, the text of the second thread linked above is shown below.

Please keep this thread alive and help alert your fellow members to these rules.

• The item or items must be identified.

Examples:
Deal: OCZ DDR2-800 for $30 after MIR at Newegg
Deal: Intel E6600 for $200 shipped at Zipzoomfly
Deals: Water cooling kits on sale at SVC

Threads with improper titles WILL be deleted as fixing incorrect thread titles takes resources away from other things that need to be done on the site. These rules are clearly posted and all of the threads in the deals forum follow them, so there's really no excuse not to comply with them.

This needs a bump as it looks like 50% or so of the Deals threads are deleted for improper titles.

We do take this seriously and even first time offenders will have their threads deleted without hesitation. Please also remember to use descriptive titles as well as the prefixes we have provided for you in ALL of the marketplace forums or your threads will be deleted.

Just a quick reminder bump. Things have been MUCH better recently. Only two of the last fifty or so threads have been deleted due to title formats, which is a great improvement. I'd really like to see that number drop to zero.
