Default ASUS 9600GSO 384 MB TOP w/ Free Alone in the Dark for $84.99 after MIR at Newegg

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814121251

Yes the game sucks, but it's free. The card is the same as a 8800GS. Can't hear the fan, my case fans are kind of loud though. It only reports temps for me with ASUS's SmartDoctor, it is on the cd that comes with the card/downloaded from the ASUS site if needed.

-----------------------------------------------
stock:

Temps: default fan speed
47c Idle
60c Load
45/54 with the floor fan I have to keep my feet cool, added effect of lowering temps. :>

Folding:
just installed the 177.40 drivers. This is stock clocks

3dmark06:
http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=7386787
It will score 10k+ with a better system.

Crysis:
1280x1024 4xAA All High: 15.21fps
1280x1024 2xAA All High: 22.93fps
1024x768 4xAA All High: 29.97fps

If anybody wants to know more about it I'll try and help.

Actually yes that does work, I was thinking about trying that but I didn't think Asus would make it so only their program can read it. Thanks. I ran Crysis benchmark to get the temps, so I added the fps from that too.

With my evga 8800gs card i got a pretty good overclock. The stock shader on this card is only a little lower than my overclock although i could prolly overclock it a bit higher. I would so pick up this card and resell the game for $15 and get the card for $70. Cant find particular overclocks for this card but if its as good as the palit at overclocking it beats my evga overclock by a bit.

Ce1eron do you mind overclocking your card?

ok well the shaders didn't want to go past 1755 with 690/1900 and the core did not like 700. I'm no expert overclocker though, just used atitool and scanned for artifacts while I upped the settings a little every few mins. I didn't play with the mem much cause honestly it scares me, last card died because of the ram. ;(
