Default Open-box Abit IP35-E for $59.99 shipped at newegg

Newegg has open-box Abit IP35-E motherboards for $59.99 shipped. Notoriously good overclocking board.

It just depends on the luck of the draw. It can be none, some, or all (accessories included). I've bought a couple open box boards and haven't had a big problem with any of them. Although if there is something wrong report it quick because the warranty is only like 15 days on open box boards.

The open box policy is quite ambiguous... It states that"Barebone means Newegg.com can only guarantee the item by itself, and no other accessories. No matter what the product description says, open box products may not have all the other accessories normally shipped with a new product. Newegg.com only guarantees that the barebone item itself will be included. Do not be upset or surprised if your open box product does not contain any cables, adaptors, manuals, CDs, drivers, fan, etc. Newegg.com will not send you any missing accessories, even if the accessory is essential to the product's operation. "

Thus, no guarantee. However, many open-box items DO come with accessories. I just recently bought a DFI XF790 board (open box), and it came with I/O back plate, SATA/IDE cables, manual, drivers CD, and some other small stuff. Basically, that's everything.

Sometimes you'll see an Open Box.... and OEM at the end. In those cases, you can be sure there won't be any accessories.

This board is not for quads! I say this because the northbridge gets too darn hot if you run a quad core..

Partially true, the northbridge and the mosfets will get quite hot, but all you need to do is replace the thermal material with AS5 or the like and bolt mod the heatsinks rather than using those plastic clips. My IP35-E ran a Q6600 and a Q6700 at 4ghz and an E6850 at 4.2ghz.

They are great boards but you are SOL if need to RMA it to Abit, their customer service is non-existent.
