Default Hanns·G 22" LCD for $179.99 shipped at newegg.com

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-035-_-Product

Can't compare with other good LCD but it is good enough for home office. I just ordered one for my server so it can display tasks as many as possible. If you use live.com cash back program, it costs around $175. Not bad for a 22' LCD.

I saw this and am very tempted.

Why is this not as good as others?

I've been waiting for it to go on sale for a long time. I am going to order this one and upgrade from my CRT.

If you dont mind what kind of comparision is it lacking in image quality, features, build quality, dead pixels? Just curious because I know Samsung and LG monitors of the same size and comparable specs are fair gap in price than this one and cant visually notice any difference between the brands mentioned. My friend has a 22' Hanns G , and I have seen both in retail stores together on the same shelf . Maybe you know info about these brands that we dont ? I or other OCN members would like to know.

Actually, they are pretty good but still short a bit compare to other brands such as Samsung and LG in terms of features such as non-adjustable stand but at this price. It is a good buy.

I've got a 19" Hanns·G, and it's got a great picture and a single dead pixel in the lower right hand corner of the screen. The dead pixel is so far out of the way that I usually forget it's there.

Mine is almost identical, but it's 21.6". It's great with an ati card, but for some reason with my old 8800gt, newegg would be all flashy and stuff, which annoyed me.
