So here's the deal I ran across, I recently bought some real Yate Loon fans, UV light & grills that totaled $47.11 shipped. In my shipment was a card stating that if I chose an item from my order & reviewed it on a Website that I belonged to (including guild, clan, personal, blog, etc.), they would send me $30 in the form that I paid. My mastercard was credited $30 2 days ago. The details stated "keep it over 100 words and include a link back to the xoxide homepage, section of the product or the product itself", (I did the product link, because it was a good deal.) Afterwards, email the URL of your post/review to reviews@xoxide.com
they emailed me back to get my order # and started processing my refund. Not bad at all, but I don't know if there is a minimum order to get the promo card, but my total was just under $50 shipped. I waited until the refund was done before posting this deal to ensure it wasn't a scam. The total process took <1 week from when I emailed them. (BTW, for all you black helicopter people, they are real Yate Loons, not fakes.)

He didn't actually post any links to either xoxide or to his review, he simply pointed out that xoxide offers this deal in the same way that anyone else posts good online deals. I don't see how his post is in violation of the ToS. I think he just wanted other OCN members to be able to take advantage of a good deal is all. Now don't get mad at me for saying this, I just didn't want the OP to catch any grief when he's just trying to let us know how we can save some money.

You buy something from Xoxide.com, you get a thing in the mail, you submit an uber review, you get money back from that order... pretty simple?

Yeah, OCN can't be used for this promo.

Just to clear things up, I dont believe I broke OCN ToS and if I did it wasnt intentional.
The OP said you could get 30$ for writing a review, I simply responded and said you could get up to $100 for a somewhat lengthier review.

I didnt even recomend posting the review here and thinking about it...I dont think that would even be possible.

This is just for members who have made purchases from Xoxide and would like to write a review and publish to their own site (or a site that accepts product reviews such as those described by Xoxide) and get a little cash back.

Sorry for confusion/harm(?) I've caused.


For the record, I am in no way affiliated with xoxide and am gaining nothing by posting this offer. I haven't even done it myself. If this is against ToS for "promoting xoxide" (which is not the intention of this thread), it would seem that every post in this section is promoting another site and therefore violating ToS
