Actually they are great, and they really dont affect CFMs on stock case fans and they muffle them a bit.

On a tornado, they can be tricky to use without getting a hiss or whistle.... and they DO affect the cfms after about 50% MaxRPM

They are much easier to clean and have less impact on cfm's. You just unscrew the filter off the frame, wash & rinse.
