Don't think there are any for high school students. Though you can always email Microsoft and find out.

I submitted one through the non-email way with a scan of my ID card. I guess I'll find out.

Nemmind. It only let me get 7 Home Premium. So now I have Win7!

I opted for the extra $13 charge for bootable media. This download manager thing seems kinda prone to problems to me

EDIT: Does anyone know if the download manager downloads an ISO image or does an in-place upgrade install (like a Linux FTP install)? If the latter I'll need to carefully prepare my computer so I can get it done right the first time.

EDIT * 2: Shoot! I missed the Pro option. I guess it's too late to get it changed now. Oh well for what I do (I don't need access to the school's network or join a domain) I guess I don't really need Win7 Pro.

It's not an ISO but an in-place upgrade. You can make an ISO with the files you download and as a result do a clean install: link. This should help with the clean install part: link.

Pro isn't really necessary if you're just gaming/browsing/etc.

As for you youngins, no. It's not available to anyone without a .edu email address, so only college students.
