Default [WALMART]Rumor for Saturday - $100 X360 + $500 42" LCD

Hey guys,

Ran across this "rumor" for upcoming Saturday taking place in Walmart.

http://www.crunchgear.com/2009/11/03...d-on-saturday/

Couple deals on TV's and an X360.

Keep in mind, it's a rumor, but if true it's ridiculous!

True. However, you do get $100 back via gift card. You can spend it or gift it to someone.

Wonder if you can return the 360 and keep the GC?

So this will be next Sunday? November the 7th right?

Yea but it still costs you 200 dollars to get that giftcard. IT's not like you can walk up with 100 dollars and just ask them to not give you the giftcard. You should probably change the title.

Oh god. Deals like this is what gets employees killed. See what happened last year: http://money.cnn.com/2008/11/28/news...ion=2008112819

This is why I'm waiting for cyber monday. Safer, and no need to camp outside of a store.

Alright.

So not a good deal, then?

EDIT: Never mind, 360's still go for $200. WOW.

Still $100 you have to spend there. I stay very far away from that store. Not to mention many electronics manufacturers make WalMart models. I'd recommend getting electronics, especially, elsewhere.

Meh, you can sell the GC for 80% of value in a New York minute. What do you mean "Walmart models"? Lower quality units of materials found in other stores?
