Are these the actual X-Fi cards? I remember hearing that there was a card marketed as having the X-Fi chip but did not. Just wondering if someone can shed some light on the situation. And also...+Rep for a nice find.

You're thinking of the Xtreme Audio. It's the only card with the X-Fi name that isn't truly an X-Fi.
