Cheaper 90nm chip that trades blows with a 55nm chip... The GTX is/was a -beast.- I'd love to see a limited edition 40nm die shrink one.. you know one that doesn't melt your case..

They are both between the 8800GT and GTX260 in performance

The 8800GTX's higher memory (768MB vs 512MB) can help with higher AA and resolution (Albeit with higher power consumption and heat)

Ok thats G92? The 8800gtx is G80? I thought the G92 was better then a G80. Like a 9800gtx+ is equal to a 4850 right? Well I think a 4850 can take on a 8800gtx?

no, the G92 was actually a weaker core until the stream processors were unlocked for the 8800GTS 512mb, then it rivaled the 8800GTX, the 9800GTX was a die shrink of the 8800GTS plus faster memory, the 9800GTX+ lowered power consumption greatly from the 9800GTX and allowed for better overclocks. the GTS 250 is a rebrand. the 4850 is a bit faster than the 8800GTX and the 9800GTX+

Well I googled 9800gtx+ vs 8800gtx and it shows the 9800gtx+ ahead. So I don't know. Lets just say I wouldn't buy a "Older" card when I can buy a newer one for cheaper.
