I dont think your really going to see anything major by adding 1 more drive... plus with Raid0 one more drive is just another thing that can go wrong and &^*@ your array up

Personal Opinion of course...

for 80 dollars the spinpoint f3 1tb is a much better value than this and the 1tb caviar black

I was just about to say the same thing! And Newegg often has it for $75, which is an even better deal; l got mine for $70. Nobody should be settling for less than a terabyte today.

The F3 does outperform the WD Caviars by a few percent. But the 640GB version of the caviar black is the best performing WD drive.
