9800GT is basically a rebranded 8800GT. Although there's a different size in the chip isn't there? 8800 uses a 65nm and a 9800 uses a 45nm?

Not entirely sure

But they're essentially the same card.

And as for world of warcrack.

Most of them are. There was one model which had 128 shaders instead of 112 (it's long gone though, I don't know the model name; you're lucky if you ever see one), and any eVGA model with a higher number than N975 is 55nm (G92b) instead of 65nm (G92).

Being the Low Power 9800GT, it does NOT need a 6-pin PCIe but is downclocked.
