No where on Newegg's page states this is specifically for WC. Of course OCNers would know, but an average joe consumer might think it's some kind of passive cooler and smoke his new 5870 without connecting it to a water loop...


Doubt it'll happen, but can you imagine?

I don't know but this video card without waterblock the price in the majority etailers is $389 - $430 , the watherblock cost aprox $ 100 - $ 110.

For me the price is right, for everyone is use Watercooling Setup. And the posibility to OC this video card to 1Ghz + is really high without any problem. But for other like me, this price is a little bit higher because I don't use the watercooling block in this VGA. This part in my PC I change frequently.
