Windows XP will not delete.
Okay, so whenever I try to delete a file, Windows Explorer bugs out, and gives me an error message stating that it needs to shut down. It only started doing this last week, and it happens constantly. At first, restarts helped, but now, whenever I try to delete, even after a restart, Explorer simply craps out and refuses to delete. So... ***? All other functions work fine.. so again.. ***?
__________________Also, I have run Adaware, Spybot S&E, Spyware Blaster, As well as Norton Antivirus. I also have Avast, but am currently not using it.

Try going back to an earlier restore point, then run all the adaware and spybot S&D.

Restart in Safe Mode and try again.

Just any file, really. Any time I try to delete anything, Explorer craps out. I'm gonna go try the first two. If all else fails, I guess That windows vista Beta will actually get installed...

Uhmm, I do recommend you try out Windows Vista Beta for some sight but I do NOT recommend using it as main OS. Do you have a copy of Windows XP you can reinstall?

Try a REPAIR#1 if you can and run CHKDSK /R...reboot and see if you can get rid of that file...if not do it again but this time go to the Install Windows and let it see if your install is corrupted in any way (get your cd key ready if it is)...they it will go about resetting all your basic system files to whatever install you have...I.E. Home,SP1,SP2...but you keep all your programs and data

Well, I do have the XP OEM, but I figured I might as well give Vista a try if XP continued being retarded. I think I'll give the Chkdsk thing a try too, and see where it gets me first, tho. Something leads me to beleive its a virus tho...

Naw the virus that you get on WIndows are just to exploit it's weakness...that Microsoft wants all their users on the internet...
It's more OS than somebody else...trust me
