edit: i just searched for that file adidts.sys and i couldnt find anything.. i have never seen or herd of that file befor.. if you are able to log into safe mode.. i would try and search for the file.. find out what directory it is in and what software it relates too you can also goto START click RUN and type MSCONFIG.. click on the tab START UP and uncheck anyline that might relate to adidts.sys you might have some form of malware i would run scans and double check

![]() And that adidts.sys sound like some kind of malicious file. Go into Safe Mode, do a Search and Delete it. It can't be all that good if it's stopping you booting Windows properly. Failing this, try another repair.

Ok... I am having exactly the same problems. with the same motherboard.
When i boot into windows, the machine crashes. The cause of it is the "adidts.sys" file that is actually an audio driver. I booted into safe mode and deleted the file. When i then booted back into normal windows, it worked perfectly.... albeit with no sound. I have tried reinstalling the drivers directly from the asus website and it continues to do it. All i can think of that its conflicting with something.... i just dont know what. Can anyone provide suggestions? |
