Default 98 to Vista

I wanna write my hard drive to zeros, install 98, XP upgrade, then vista ultimate over it. I think thats what I'm sposed to do anyway. My dad says I dont have to all that.

Is he right? I'm about to install soon..

you dont have to write it all over with zeros

jus delete the partition 98 is on.....and install vista on that..

were you running 98 on your sig rig????

if not...if the computer you have is running 98..dont know how well vista will run on it...

To answer most of your questions: (1) a fridge cannot cool a PC (2) 64-bit OS for over 3.4GB (3) If a PCIe card fits, it should work (4) Resolution, not screen size (5) If you have a question, it is not news (6) Report, not respond to Spam (7) Single-Rail/Non-Modular PSUs are not always better than Multi-Rail/Modular (8) Sequential does not matter as much as random for OS drives

I am so lost, Rick what machine will you be doing this on? The machine your doing it on, does it have an OS on it. If it has 98 on it, just pop in vista.
