I seem to be having trouble with flashing my bios as well, lol. Although mine is a software utility by Abit for windows. Their site/update software seem to suck.

use a boot disk from www.bootdisk.com

this is an excellent place for bootdisks. use one of the 9.x bootdisks instead of the one your using. they have a different versions and some custom versions available.

All you need on the boot disk is three files from a MSDOS/Win9x/ME startup disk. The files are: -

command.com
io.sys
msdos.sys

then you just need to copy the flash app & bios file onto it
