Default Vista.... How does it Effect your Graphics?

Vista... to upgrade or not to upgrade.

I mean does Vista work side by side with DX-10 and Graphics for new released games? Like Crysis and Age Of Conan.

Does Vista make a difference with the new age games and rendering?

32-bit vs 64-bit?

Consider these answers as if someone had all the hardware components to support Vista the best.

There are subtle improvements in graphics for newer games that take advantage of DX10 such as Crysis and Bioshock. However, performance is pretty much slower across the board in Vista when compared to XP.

In Crysis, for example, Very High settings look better but runs laggier (when compared with "very high hack" in XP)

64-bit if you have more than 2gb of memory. 32-bit if you have 2 GB or less. I should have installed 32-bit, but instead i've got 64 now, and I don't intend to change that any time soon. Another couple gigs of ram would be a good upgrade though.

Vista has full support for direct x 10, but it won't make any difference if you have the dx9 very high hack for xp.

64bit>32bit

It can supports more than 4GB of RAM, while 32-bit only supports up to 4GB (this memory includes RAM, vRAM, etc)

Some say x64 runs smoother as well, wish I got it
