Default Why are people making crap up about how bad vista really is?

Now before passing any judgement, I have notice a trend. When ever a new product comes out some how some one always has a problem, which can be a lot of the times doubtful.

But, honestly, I was one the morons who was lured into trash like that , but after using vista in friends laptop its awesome OS , its annoying @ first but I can must say its better than xp.

Which begs the question. Why the hell are people making this nonsense up?

Because its slower ATM. (I am not saying its bad, just saying that driver support aren't there yet. Its not Vista´s fault.)

BTW I am running Vista Ultimate.

Different people have different opinions. We are not anyhow crapping stuff up. It's just our viewpoint. As a gamer, i just had way TOO many problems in vista.

If I could afford vista, i'd probably use it. Just the fact that its quite a lot of money that doesn't really need to be spent, its mainly for futureproofing. I'll get it when its cheaper.

lack of drivers, and its really difficult to work with at times. For instance, right now I am having trouble with a corrupt dll file, I have a new file, but it is near impossible to get it in my system folder because of all the security measures in vista. It took me literally 3 days to figure out how to do it. It is unbelievable. also things like Ati tool don't work because of driver signing, which is to some(if not most) degree the software manufacturers problem and fault. But I mean its terrible that someone who knows about computers is being told that I shouldn't rename a file, and I need permission to change a freaking filename on my own freaking computer. For a newb, vista is great, you can't mess up and it is sleek. but for anyone who knows about computers it is lame. If it didn't have dx10, I would be on xp for a long time to come

Drivers man, Vista is no where near stable with Drivers, The 64-Bit version no hardly seems to get trouble with, well on with installing 4gb of ram, the 32-Bit version is terrible handling drivers and gives people all sorts of trouble thats why no one likes it At the minute. Nut hopefully when SP 1 comes out all this will be resolved.

Still think we're crapping now? Haha... Just joking man... I especially liked the point B-80 made. I'll have to agree that for a newb, Vista is great and is user friendly. But not for people like us.

This is kinda similar to the migration from 16bit to 32bit. people were very reluctant and i think it took nearly a decade for people to change....

but its not like they really had a choice. Microsoft does the moves and so long as other large companies follow, before long the puplic have no choice but to do the same.

But seeing as this is a O.S. i guess people could always wait for Windows Vienna. thier love affair with XP will soon end.
