Default Windows Vista update Error....

I'm running Vista Home Premium 32bit on my laptop and for some reason i keep on getting an error, here is the error code:

I can't seem to update my Vista could you guys help me with figuring out why i can't install any updates

Did you upgrade from XP to Home or? Some how the Updating files got corrupted and won't allow you to connect to the download servers. You can try the "Microsoft" fix at this site and see if it helps.

If it doesn't you will have to insert your Vista disc....select upgrade and everything will be dandy. (Even though you will most likely lose all sensitive data)

To piggy back of this question, I am also getting an error, 80070002, I followed the help menu, and still won't install...Just seeing if a lot of people are having problems with the latest update...
