Default I lost my trash can

My trash can left the building I guess I changed moniters and now the can is gone. Has this happened to anyone?

Vista? Start > Control Panel > Personalization > Change Desktop Icons (very top left).

I unchecked them all because I don't like ANYTHING on my desktop.

For XP try this:

In Registry Editor, navigate to the following registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Explorer\Desktop\NameSpace

Create the following key:

{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}

Oh yeah, if it's his sig system it's XP...I forgot how to do that with XP. Sad. I'm sure there's a similar process which doesn't require registry edits...
