Default Does changing RAM affect stability of a Vista install?
If I install vistax64 with 2GB ram and then switch it out for 4GB a little later will everything still be rock solid?

Only reason I'm concerned is my ram became unusably unstable so I switched from 2GB to 1GB and now it's pretty stable for general app but I get some errors when launching games. I'm not sure if it's the ram switch though because this is on XP-32 and my install was already getting pretty buggy (probably due to dying ram).

No probs, as long as the RAM is compatible with your mobo. Look into ram brand compatibility at your mobo's manufacturer's site!
