Turn on hidden folders and see if you can find any irregular program folders that are taking up a substantial amount of space.

OK this is getting worse....in the 5 minutes i have been on Overclock.net

I am down to 71.9 gigs of free space..and i have done nothing since i posted.


Is my pc gonna explode?

Dude your recycle bin takes up space...

Until you have deleted them out of your recycle bin, you're gonna keep losing space. Granted, very little, because it's compressed as far as it can go, but you're losing space.

I am aware of that, I deleted things form the bin through out this process.


However i am back to 103gig's of space somehow. Thats good i supose, but still random as hell.

I know what it is!!

Do you have the indexer and shadowing processes enabled? If so... that's it. I was like no way Vista takes 40GB just for the OS. I turned those off and it went down to a normal 10GB.
