Exclamation I'm confused about vista 64, some one help please.

Hey guys, I'm really confused about buying windows vista ultimate 64bit edition and I don't know which one to choose. What is the difference between DSP OEI DVD for System Builders - OEM and for System Builders Single Pack DVD - OEM. What I don't understand is DSP OEI DVD, is that like a type of version or is it the same?? Here is the DSP OEI: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16832116490 and Single Pack DVD - OEM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16832116215 ( I know it's sold out but I can find another place to buy it.) What about this one right here its a Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate SP1 English NA DVD: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16832116473 would this one matter??

Can some one also explain OEM for me please??? I read on some other forum that I can only use the CD key it came with it once and never again, is this true??? because I don't want to get a virus and if I can't fix it I would have to reinstall vista 64bit but I can't use the CD key.

Would someone please explain to me, please help a newb out

Thanks. bLinkZor....

Ive never heard of a DSO version. I dont think there is any difference.

An OEM license means when you install the OS the licence is tied to that motherboard. If you need to reinstall on that motherbaord then you can do so upto 3 times before you have to call MS to activate over the phone.

If you upgrade your board, you would technically need to purchase another copy of Windows.

In this case, DSP stands for Microsoft's Delivery Service Partner program. Its a licesing thing, no features are different.

Here's a quote from Microsoft's web site describing DSP software:

The Delivery Service Partner version of Windows is similar to the OEM version of Windows in that it is distributed only with new computers and you cannot purchase a Delivery Service Partner version of Windows except with a new computer. Many smaller computer vendors include a Delivery Service Partner version of Windows on new computers.
